Multi-residential - In-unit Recycling Bag & Organic Kitchen Catcher/Container Program

Contact 311 to submit a service request for multi-residential buildings to order in-unit recycling bags or organic kitchen containers or to find out the status of your submitted application. Requests may only be made by Superintendents or Property Managers and should have the water/waste utility account number.

The City provides free in-unit Blue Bin Recycling Bags and Organic kitchen catchers to multi-residential buildings on City collection. Information on the In-Unit Recycling & Organics Program is available on the City of Toronto website.

You must be the superintendent or property manager to place the order and you will need your water/waste utility account number.

• For first time orders only (i.e. you have not previously ordered containers for your building), buildings are eligible to receive an in-unit container for each unit in the building, plus an additional 10 per cent of the total number of units for replacements.
• Every year, buildings are eligible to receive an additional 10 per cent of the total number of units in the building for replacements.
