A Property Information Report (as known as a compliance letter) is a report which provides details on active building permits, violations, work orders and the zoning designation that may apply to a property.

A property information report does not verify the lawful use of a property or compliance with the Zoning Bylaw.

Property Information Reports are often a requirement before a property transfer can take place and are generally requested by a lawyer on behalf of a purchaser.
