A Property Information Report offers details on active building permits, violations, work orders and the zoning designation that may apply to a property.

 

The Property Information Report offers information regarding issued building permits on file, the status of inspections and any outstanding orders as they relate to the Ontario Building CodeZoning By-law and/or Property Standards By-law. The report is often a requirement before a property transfer can take place and are typically requested as a result of a possible sale or refinancing of a building or property.

You can request a Property Information Report in person at the Toronto Building Customer Service Counter in the North York district, mail a request form with a cheque payable to the Treasurer of the City of Toronto, or submit a request by email and pay over the phone.

The processing time for a Property Information Report is approximately five business days.
