General Information

The Zoning Use Review provides an assessment of whether the following uses are permitted for a specific location, under the current applicable Zoning By-law:

Animal Care
Auto/Vehicle
Child Care
Commercial
Restaurant
Institutional
Manufacturing
Medical/Dental/Drugless Practitioner/Holistic
Parking Lot
Personal Services
Office

The review will not include parking, loading, built form standards, or any other qualifications or conditions related to that use.

A Zoning Applicable Law Certificate review is required for:

Recycling uses;
Transfer stations;
Drive-thrus;
Patios and any use not indicated on the application form.

Required Documentation

No plans are required to make an application.

Required Fees

The review of a proposal to determine its compliance with the City’s Zoning By-law. The fees for the program are as follows:
