As of March 1, 2022, Toronto Building has replaced the Preliminary Project Review service with the Zoning Applicable Law Certificate service. This new service provides enhanced service as a Zoning Applicable Law Certificate review will provide both a comprehensive zoning and applicable law review, and an issued Zoning Applicable Law Certificate enables a complete application for a building permit to be made.
Applications for Preliminary Project Reviews that were applied prior to March 1, 2022 will be processed under the previous program and fee structure.
