Zoning Applicable Law Certificate for a Pool Fence Enclosure

A Zoning Applicable Law Certificate is required for your application for a Pool Fence Enclosure permit through Municipal Licensing and Standards.

All drawings to be drawn on standardized sized sheets, drawn to scale, fully dimensioned, signed and dated.

All drawings, reports, and forms, including the completed Project Review Request must be provided in a PDF format and submitted by email.

An application for a Zoning Applicable Law Certificate includes a maximum of three reviews.

Site Plan

A detailed site plan, fully dimensioned and showing:

  • Reference to a legal survey showing property lines of lot
  • pool and property dimensions
  • distances to the house and lot lines
  • location and dimensions of any doors and windows in the house adjacent to the pool area
  • location of pool equipment (eg. heater, pump, and filter) and distances to lot lines
  • location, height and material of proposed fence
  • percentage of hard versus soft landscaping*

*Note: Soft landscaping may include the water surface area of outdoor swimming pools or other ancillary structures used to hold water, such as fountains or artificial ponds.
