Mayor John Tory, Toronto Police Chief James Ramer and City of Toronto staff will join Melanie Kanaka, President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the 18th annual CIMA Mayor’s Cricket Trophy event. Cricket teams from public, private and community sector organizations will participate in the event.

The annual Mayor’s Cricket Trophy event was launched in Toronto in 2005 by CIMA Canada, in partnership with the City’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation division. Since then, the event has helped support youth cricket programs in Toronto and the establishment of the Ontario Schools Cricket Association (OSCA). Mayor Tory will join cricket teams from CIMA, Toronto Police, TTC, Metrolinx, Toronto Housing, media and community organizations to support Mayor’s school cricket programs through OSCA.
