On Thursday, Mayor Olivia Chow, Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York), Councillor Paula Fletcher (Toronto-Danforth) and Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre) will be joined by John Kiru, Executive Director, Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA); City of Toronto staff; and local Business Improvement Area (BIA) and restaurant representatives to kick off the 2024 CaféTO season.
Now in its second year as a permanent program that serves to boost Toronto’s vibrant main streets, CaféTO features new process and design enhancements in 2024 aimed at ensuring temporary curb lane patios across the city can open more easily and sooner than ever before.
