The City of Toronto, in partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), will host a media tour to showcase the recently completed Phase 1 enhancements at Toronto Stadium at Exhibition Place in preparation for FIFA World Cup 2026™.
These upgrades mark a significant milestone as Toronto sets the pitch for six FIFA World Cup 26™ matches including the historic opening match featuring Canada’s Men’s National Team.
Media are invited to participate in a 45-minute stadium tour with Sharon Bollenbach, Executive Director, FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto Secretariat and Nick Eaves, Chief Operating Officer, MLSE, to see the new features and learn about Phase 2 plans. Please note that due to group size considerations, attendance will be capped at a maximum of 15 people for each tour. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis and an RSVP is required.
Date: Tuesday, September 23
Timeslots available: 1 to 1:45 p.m. or 2 to 2:45 p.m.
Location: Toronto Stadium at Exhibition Place, 170 Princes’ Blvd. Please arrive through the Media Entrance at Gate 5.
