Tomorrow, the City of Toronto will continue to take action in support of local businesses facing United States tariffs and help celebrate Canada through two events.
Mayor Olivia Chow will be joined by Councillor Paula Fletcher (Toronto-Danforth), Jennifer Lay, Executive Director, Riverside BIA, local business leaders and community representatives to officially launch “Love Local”, a campaign that encourages Torontonians to shop local and support Canadian-made products and businesses.

The “Love Local” campaign is among 10 immediate actions in the Mayor’s Economic Action Plan in Response to United States Tariffs aimed at protecting small businesses, strengthening local supply chains and ensuring economic resilience.
