The City of Toronto will host a media event tomorrow at the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design building to announce the City’s first-ever Resilience Strategy.

The event will be hosted by Councillor Jennifer McKelvie (Ward 25 Scarborough-Rouge Park). City Manager Chris Murray will provide the opening remarks and Chief Resilience Officer Elliott Cappell will talk about the strategy development process, Toronto’s resilience challenges and the Strategy’s focus areas and priority actions.

Time:  9 to 10 a.m.
Location: John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design building, 1 Spadina Cres.

Following remarks, media will have an opportunity to ask questions. Resilience experts will be on site for interviews.
