Today, Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie (Scarborough-Rouge Park) will announce the 25 recipients of the Toronto Community Champion Award. Winners will be announced and honoured at an award ceremony at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library.

The Toronto Community Champion Award Ceremony will include official remarks and a presentation of awards.

Date: Monday, March 20
Time: Site opens 6 p.m., remarks begin 6:30 p.m.
Location: Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St.

Part of the Stronger TOgether initiative, funded in part by the Government of Canada, the Toronto Community Champion Award recognizes organizations that provided exceptional support for Torontonians during the pandemic and celebrates the resilience of Toronto residents as the city continues to recover from the pandemic.
