The City of Toronto will hold a technical briefing on Monday, November 20, to introduce media to “Our Health, Our City: A Mental Health, Substance Use, Harm Reduction and Treatment Strategy for Toronto.” Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Eileen de Villa, Uppala Chandrasekera, Director, Public Health, and Dr. Shovita Padhi, Associate Medical Officer of Health will provide an overview of the new strategy.

Following the technical briefing, an in-person launch event will be held at Toronto City Hall that will be attended by Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York) and Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre), Chair of the Board of Health.

Time:            8:30 a.m. technical briefing (online only) followed by a media availability at 9:15 a.m.

Location:     Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., A-Street Reception
