Mayor Olivia Chow and Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York) will be joined by City of Toronto staff and members of the local community to officially open the new One Yonge Street Community Recreation Centre. The open house event will welcome residents to visit the centre, observe classes and take part in a hoop dancing demonstration class.

Date: Saturday, November 4
Time: 1 to 5 p.m.
Location: One Yonge Community Recreation Centre, 24 Freeland St.
Note: The opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will begin at 2 p.m. in the fitness room on the second floor.
