The City of Toronto will unveil a new Toronto sign wrap on Wednesday, September 28, on Nathan Phillips Square. Artist Joseph Sagaj, the Toronto-based artist who designed the new wrap, will join City officials, Elder Dorothy Peters, youths and singer Zeegwon Shilling at the unveiling.

In September 2020, a new 3D TORONTO Sign was installed on Nathan Phillips Square. A more durable replica of the original, installed in July 2015 for the Toronto 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games, is illuminated, stands 10 feet tall and features a designed vinyl wrap on the outer edges of its letters.
