Today, Toronto Paramedic Services Chief Bikram Chawla proudly welcomed 33 Primary Care Paramedics to the City of Toronto. The event highlighted the City’s continued commitment to public safety and investment in emergency services for Torontonians.
Each Paramedic graduate has completed a comprehensive orientation and training program, strengthening Toronto Paramedic Services’ ability to respond to medical emergencies when every moment counts. These graduates bring advanced skills and expertise to deliver life-saving interventions directly in communities across the city. They join a dedicated team of professionals providing exceptional care to the city’s three million residents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Becoming a Paramedic requires compassion, dedication, resilience and composure under pressure. Toronto Paramedic Services’ skilled Paramedics are selected through a demanding recruitment process, with successful applicants bringing diverse skills and experience as they serve the community.
