Starting today, eligible voters in the upcoming Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Ward 11 by-election can confirm if they are on the voters’ list, add their name, update their information and apply to vote by mail.
To check or update information on the voters’ list, residents are encouraged to visit MyVote at: www.toronto.ca/MyVote. Changes must be made by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 6 to appear on the final voters’ list.
After this time, eligible voters can add their name to the voters’ list when they go to vote in person, either during:
Voter Information Cards
Starting Wednesday, February 12, Voter Information Cards (VICs) will be mailed to eligible voters who are on the voters’ list by Thursday, February 6.
A VIC provides information about when and where to vote during advance voting and on election day.
Eligible voters do not need a VIC to vote and a VIC is not an accepted form of identification for voting purposes.

Vote by mail
Starting today, eligible voters can apply to vote by mail in the TDSB Ward 11 by-election by visiting the Toronto Elections webpage at: www.toronto.ca/VoteByMail.
Applicants can track the status of their Mail-in Voting package using the confirmation code received by email after completing the online application. Mail-in Voting packages will be sent by Canada Post starting Friday, January 31.
Completed Mail-in Voting packages must be received by Toronto Elections by noon on Monday, February 24. Completed packages can be mailed to Toronto Elections through Canada Post or hand delivered to a secure Mail-in Voting drop box. Two yellow drop boxes will be available in Ward 11 between Tuesday, February 18 and Monday, February 24.
