Lieutenant-General Richard Rohmer and Toronto Paramedic Services Chief Paul Raftis will present 63 paramedics from Toronto Paramedic Services with the Canadian Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Exemplary Service Medal, as awarded by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada.

Canadian EMS Exemplary Service Medals are awarded by the Governor General of Canada in recognition of 20 years of exemplary service, with a minimum of 10 years of service in the performance of duties involving potential risk. Time:  1:30 p.m.

Location: Canadian Armed Forces Denison Armoury, 1 Yukon Ln. The ceremony will be held in the Officers’ Mess.

As Denison Armoury is a secure Canadian Forces facility, Government-issued photo identification is required for access. Limited on-site parking is available through the security gate checkpoint off of Yukon Lane. Face masks must be worn at all times and physical distancing must be observed.
