Toronto Paramedic Services’ (TPS) Chief Paul Raftis, together with other City of Toronto officials, will welcome 57 frontline staff to the City at a ceremony tomorrow.

Date: Tuesday, November 1

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: Canadian Armed Forces Lieutenant-Colonel George Taylor Denison III Armoury, 1 Yukon Ln., Parade Square

Note: As the Denison Armoury is a secure Canadian Forces facility, pre-registration is required for access. Government-issued photo identification must be presented upon arrival at the facility. Limited on-site parking is available through the security gate checkpoint off of Yukon Lane.

Pre-registered media are invited to attend the ceremony, which will include official remarks from TPS Chief Raftis who will present the graduation certificates.

After successfully completing rigorous orientation and training programs, 21 Paramedics, 26 Emergency Medical Dispatchers and 10 Call Takers will be recognized at the ceremony. The graduates join the TPS dedicated team in providing world-class, pre-hospital care to Toronto’s residents and visitors.
