Toronto Paramedic Services (TPS) Chief Paul Raftis and other City of Toronto officials will welcome 24 new Primary Care Paramedics to the City at a ceremony tomorrow.

Date: Tuesday, August 9, 2022
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Lieutenant-Colonel George Taylor Denison III Armoury, 1 Yukon Lane, Toronto. Ceremony will be held in the Parade Square
Pre-registration: Members of the media are invited to attend the ceremony; pre-registration is required. RSVP with name of media member and outlet to dineen.robinson@toronto.ca.

Note: As Denison Armoury is a secure Canadian Forces facility, pre-registration is required for access. Government-issued photo identification must be presented upon arrival at the facility. Limited on-site parking is available through the security gate checkpoint off Yukon Lane. Face masks must be worn, and physical distancing must be observed.

The ceremony marks the completion of a comprehensive nine-week orientation and training program for the recruits. TPS Chief Paul Raftis will present the graduation certificates and provide formal remarks to graduates who will be deployed to Paramedic stations across Toronto, providing world-class pre-hospital care to the city’s residents and visitors.
