The City of Toronto will host its New Year’s Eve celebration at the Toronto waterfront on December 31 that includes pop-up performances from 10 p.m. and culminates in a classic countdown hosted by world-renowned drag entertainer Tynomi Banks from 11:30 p.m., leading up to a spectacular free 10-minute, high-altitude fireworks show synchronized to music.
Ahead of Sunday’s event, City staff will hold a media briefing at Sherbourne Common to outline key New Year’s Eve programming highlights, road closures, and other relevant information.
