Ahead of Nuit Blanche Toronto’s 20th anniversary edition, media are invited for behind-the-scenes access as artists and production crews install, inflate and activate large-scale artworks in preparation for the all-night contemporary art event on Saturday, October 3.

As Nuit Blanche Toronto celebrates a milestone year, audiences can experience more than 70 projects by local, national and international artists, institutions and community partners. Under the theme Tomorrow’s Memories, the event explores how memories are created, preserved, revisited and reimagined through art.
Media will have access to artworks in various stages of production and installation, including Rhonda Weppler and Trevor Mahovsky’s Museum of Lost Things, Alexandra Gelis’ in Water, Together, Shelley Niro’s Blankets (Under) Cover, Couzyn van Heuvelen’s Avataq and Avataq Gathering, Brandon Vickerd’s UFO, Francesca Nocera aka SUN SUN’s I Miss You: T.Dot Memories (curated by Witch Prophet) and Maggy Hamel-Metsos’ Simile Aria, among others. Interview opportunities with event organizers and select participating artists will be offered, subject to availability.
