Timeslots for Toronto residents and business owners to speak to members of the City of Toronto’s Budget Committee are already fully booked at City Hall, but three locations, including a virtual participation option, remain available.

Members of the Budget Committee will hear feedback from Toronto residents and business owners on the staff prepared 2024 Budget on Monday, January 22 and Tuesday, January 23, at the following locations across the city:

Toronto City Hall, Committee Room 1 (100 Queen St. W.):

  • Monday, January 22
    o 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (full)
    o 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. (full)
    o 6 to 9 p.m. (full)

Public presentation timeslots to speak to members of the Budget Committee in person or virtually at City Hall are at full capacity.

Scarborough Civic Centre, Council Chamber (150 Borough Dr.):

  • Monday, January 22
    o 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
    o 6 to 9 p.m.

Etobicoke Civic Centre, Council Chamber (399 The West Mall):

  • Tuesday, January 23
    o 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
    o 6 to 9 p.m.

North York Civic Centre, Council Chamber (5100 Yonge St.):

  • Tuesday, January 23
    o 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
    o 6 to 9 p.m.

Torontonians interested in sharing their views on the budget virtually or in person can register by emailing buc@toronto.ca or calling 416-392-4666 before 4:30 p.m. today, indicating their preferred location and timeslot. Individuals are limited to one presentation.

Other engagement opportunities

In addition to the November 2023 consultations, the three telephone town halls held this week, and the opportunity to speak to members of the Budget Committee next week, residents and business owners can submit written feedback on the 2024 Budget to members of the Budget Committee via email: buc@toronto.ca or mail: 100 Queen St. W., Toronto City Hall, 10th floor, West Tower, Toronto, ON M5H 2N2, “Attention: Budget Committee.”
