Summerlicious 2022 returns today until August 28 with delicious prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at more than 200 local restaurants. Three-course prix fixe lunch menus are priced at $20, $27, $34, $41, $48 and $55, and dinners are priced at $25, $35, $45, $55, $65 and $75.

This year, more than 40 per cent of participating restaurants are first-time participants in the Summerlicious program, nearly 60 per cent of participating restaurants are accessible, and almost 70 per cent offer a three-course vegetarian meal.

New cuisines represented in Summerlicious include Egyptian, Indonesian, Trinidadian and Turkish. A complete list of participating restaurants is available on the City of Toronto Summerlicious webpage.

Restaurants participating in Summerlicious since its inception in 2003 include Biff’s Bistro, Duke of York, Dynasty Chinese Cuisine, Jump, Lai Wah Heen, Signatures Restaurant, Wildfire and Windsor Arms Hotel.

Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made directly with the participating dining establishments. Some participating restaurants do not offer a lunch prix fixe menu on Saturday or Sunday.

Summerlicious has partnered with BlogTO to host the official photo contest for the program. To participate, residents can tag photos on Instagram with #blogTOlicious. The deadline for submissions is August 28 at 11:59 p.m. More information is available on the BlogTO webpage.

This year’s Summerlicious program aims to support the recovery and revival of Toronto’s restaurant industry while providing the enticing experiences and delectable food that restaurant-goers have come to expect from the popular Summerlicious program.

Postponed throughout 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the return of Summerlicious is good news for restaurants, residents and visitors to Toronto.
