Starting this Friday, August 19, Toronto Public Health (TPH) is heading to The EX to offer pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE).
The CNE – Canada’s largest annual community event – will run from August 19 to Monday, September 5, offering residents and visitors entertainment, fun and the opportunity to get their next COVID-19 vaccination. The CNE clinic is one way Team Toronto is continuing to provide accessible and convenient COVID-19 vaccination opportunities at summer festivals and events and where residents live, work and play.
COVID-19 vaccines will be available to children age five and older and adults in the Enercare Centre, 100 Princes’ Blvd., near the building’s east entrance, on the following days:
In addition to the CNE, TPH COVID-19 vaccination clinics will also be popping up at other popular weekend events:
The clinics are family-friendly and will provide first, second, third, fourth and paediatric COVID-19 doses to eligible residents, including children age five and older and adults. Clinics operate on a walk-in basis and no appointment or health card is required. Pfizer and Moderna will be available.
All eligible residents are encouraged to get their third and fourth doses as soon as possible. As with vaccinations for other diseases, people are protected best when their COVID-19 vaccinations are up to date. COVID-19 vaccinations have been scientifically proven to lower the risk of illness, hospitalization and death, while protecting people, their loved ones and the community.
More information on event clinics is available on the City of Toronto’s COVID-19: Pop-Up Immunization Clinics webpage.
COVID-19 vaccinations are also available by appointment or walk-in at the six City-run COVID-19 immunization clinics. More information and details about clinic locations and hours is available on the City’s COVID-19: Where to Get Vaccinated webpage. Residents can also get their COVID-19 doses at Indigenous-led vaccination clinics, select primary care offices and other Team Toronto health care partner clinics.
