The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 2,092,608 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

As of yesterday evening, approximately 739,669 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-run clinic.

Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book an appointment by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at the City’s COVID-19 webpage or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. More information about what to expect when you get a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccine to the neighbourhoods most in need.

Over the weekend, Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy will vaccinate approximately 5,350 people at the following pop-up clinics:

Saturday, May 29

  • Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute – Students age 12 years and older attending Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute, Greenwood Secondary School, Earl Haig Public School and Wilkinson Junior Public School, and their immediate family.
  • Patrick Catholic Secondary School – Students age 12 years and older attending St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School, Monarch Park Collegiate Institute and St. Brigid Catholic School, and their immediate family.
  • Wexford Park – Individuals age 12 years and older who live/work in any “M” postal code (priority access for individuals who live/work in Golden Mile and Victoria Village).
  • Toronto Public Library (Goldhawk Park Branch) – Individuals age 18 years and older who live/work in Scarborough.

Sunday, May 30

  • V. Burgess Park – Individuals age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in postal codes M3C and M4H.
  • Kew Gardens – Individuals age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code.
  • Highcastle Public School – Individuals age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in Scarborough hot spots.

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 54 clinics over the weekend, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

City of Toronto immunization clinics

  • Yesterday, held nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.
  • Vaccinated approximately 8,626 eligible residents.
  • Over the weekend, will vaccinate up to 20,527 eligible residents.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics and four pop-up clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,183 people who are priority hospital and community based healthcare workers, homebound adults, members of the Indigenous community, and people who are 12 years of age and older.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two on-site clinics and four pop-up clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,578 people belonging to the same

University Health Network

  • Yesterday, held three on-site clinics and two mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,378 people who are healthcare workers and students, long-term care staff and essential caregivers, patients with priority health conditions, Indigenous people, individuals living in shelters, and people age 12 years and older.
  • Over the weekend, will hold one on-site clinic in partnership with SickKids, and a mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 559 people who are age 12 years and older, people with a disability, and individuals with high and highest-risk health conditions, their caregivers and siblings.

Michael Garron Hospital – East Toronto Health Partners

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic, three pop-up clinics and two primary care clinics, and deployed two mobile teams.
  • Vaccinated 2,783 people who are age 12 years and older, individuals with priority health conditions and homebound patients.
  • Over the weekend, will hold three on-site clinics, five pop-up clinics, and one primary care clinic.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 10,138 people who are age 12 years and older, and individuals with priority health conditions.

  • Yesterday, held three mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,562 people who are age 12 years and older, homebound patients, and individuals living in shelters.
  • Over the weekend, will hold four mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,650 people belonging to the same groups.

  • Held five on-site clinics and a pop-up clinic.
  • Vaccinated approximately 3,240 people who are age 12 years and older who live/work in Scarborough, and individuals age 18 and older with mental health conditions.
  • Over the weekend, will hold five on-site clinics and a mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 5,900 people belonging to the same group, as well as essential workers.

  • Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic.
  • Vaccinated 1,000 people who are age 12 years and older and health care workers receiving second doses.
  • Over the weekend, will hold one pop-up clinic and a mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 1,200 people belonging to the same groups.

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic.
  • Vaccinated 117 people who are CAMH patients and staff.
