The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 3,553,882 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto as part of the overall Team Toronto initiative. As of yesterday evening, approximately 825,192 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic.

There are more than 250,000 appointments for July available at City-run immunization clinics. Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book their vaccination appointment as soon as possible. Second dose appointments can be booked by anyone, including youth age 12 to 17, who received a first Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 28 days ago or a first AstraZeneca vaccine at least eight weeks ago. To book an appointment, click the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at City’s COVID-19 webpage or call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated. Anyone who cannot attend a scheduled appointment is urged to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible to allow others to book. Appointments at City-run clinics can be cancelled or changed at Vaccine Booking Appointment webpage or by calling the provincial booking line.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccines to the neighbourhoods most in need.

Over the weekend, a Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy partner will vaccinate people at the following pop-up clinics:

Saturday, July 3

  • David and Mary Thomson CI (M1P) – People age 12 years and older who live/work in Scarborough (first dose), and individuals age 18 years and older who lives in a high-risk Scarborough neighborhood (second dose).
  • Thorncliffe Park Community Hub – People age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code (first dose), and individuals age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in M1L, M3C or M4H (second dose).

Sunday, July 4

  • Toronto Simpson Chinese Alliance Church – People age 12 years and older who live or work in Scarborough
  • Scarborough Health Network – General Site (overflow parking lot) – People who live/work/study in any M1 postal area (first dose), and people who live/work/study in M1B/M1G/M1J/M1L/M1P.M1R/M1S (second dose) or received a first dose of Pfizer 21 days ago
  • Thorncliffe Park Community Hub – People age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in any “M” postal code (first dose), and individuals age 12 years and older who live/work/attend school in M1L, M3C or M4H (second dose).

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 30 clinics this weekend, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

 City of Toronto immunization clinics

  • Over the weekend, will vaccinate up to 33,657 eligible residents across nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT 

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics, two mobile clinics, and three pop-up clinics.
  • Vaccinated people who are hospital and community-based healthcare workers, homebound adults, Indigenous peoples, individuals age 12 years and older, and those eligible for a second dose.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two on-site clinics and three pop-up clinics.
  • Will vaccinate people belonging to the same groups.

  • Yesterday, held one primary care clinic and a mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated people age 12 years and older.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two pop-up
  • Will vaccinate people belonging to the same group.

  • Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic, and a mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,200 people who are age 12 years and older and seniors receiving first and second doses.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two pop-up
  • Will vaccinate 3,000 people belonging to the same groups.

  • Yesterday, held five on-site clinics and two mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 4,300 people who are age 12 years and older who live or work in Scarborough.
  • Over the weekend, will hold seven on-site clinics.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 7,300 people belonging to the same group.

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic.
  • Vaccinated 220 people who are age 12 years and older (first dose), individuals who are age 70 years and older (second dose), and those who received their first dose before May 9 (second dose).
