Toronto Elections will hold a virtual technical briefing for media interested in learning how to access Toronto’s 2026 municipal election results after all voting places are closed on election night, Monday, October 26.

This briefing is for media outlet technical and production staff who plan to download and access election results on election night.

Note: This online technical briefing is for planning purposes only. An in-person media availability will be held on Tuesday, September 22 (details to follow).

Toronto Elections will not be able to provide technical support to media outlets downloading and accessing election results on election night. A testing session for media outlets to participate will be held on Monday, September 28, from 8 to 10 p.m. Further details will be provided at the briefing and posted on the Toronto Elections webpage: www.toronto.ca/elections.
