Tomorrow, Toronto Fire Chief, Matthew Pegg and members of Toronto Fire Services will welcome 67 firefighters arriving by bike to the Toronto Fire Academy. The cyclists, led by members of the Toronto Professional Firefighter Celtic Society, will pass through Toronto tomorrow during their annual memorial ride from Hamilton to the National Firefighters Memorial in Ottawa.

Date: Wednesday, September 4

Time: Noon to 1 p.m.

Location: Toronto Fire Academy, 895 Eastern Ave.

Now in its eighth year, the three-day, 575-kilometre bike ride aims to raise funds and awareness for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation and to honour the firefighters being added to the Memorial Wall in Ottawa this fall.
