Today, Toronto Paramedic Services will recognize staff and members of the community for outstanding public service. Chief Paul Raftis will present awards to 13 deserving individuals who provided lifesaving care to those in need. Additionally, a number of Paramedic Services staff will be recognized in the categories of Merit, Valour, Support, and Health and Safety.

Date: Tuesday, September 20

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: Toronto Paramedic Services’ 01 Station, 1300 Wilson Ave.

Following the ceremony, members of the media are invited to learn more about the Toronto Public Service with a behind-the-scenes look at the operation of Toronto Paramedic Services’ first multi-function station. Tours of the facility and service vehicles will be available, as well as equipment demonstrations.

This event is not open to the public. Members of the media are asked to RSVP with name of the media member and media outlet to Dineen.Robinson@toronto.ca.
