Today, Toronto Elections will begin accepting new applications to fill thousands of paid voting place jobs required for the 2026 municipal election.
Election day is Monday, October 26.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in Canada.
Interested applicants can apply by visiting the Toronto Elections Jobs webpage.
Computer and internet access for applicants is available at Toronto Public Library branches, many Toronto Employment Social Services locations and community employment hubs.
Applicants selected will build customer service, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork skills, while contributing to a fair, open, accessible and secure municipal election.
Where feasible, successful applicants will be assigned to a voting place close to their home address.
