On Sunday, June 5, the public and members of the media are invited to attend a special tree planting ceremony supporting the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy initiative. Mayor John Tory and Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell will deliver remarks at the ceremony, followed by a ceremonial tree planting and unveiling of a plaque which commemorates the occasion.

Date:  Sunday, June 5

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: Rowntree Mills Park, 155 Rowntree Mill Rd.
