Check availability and book a wedding chamber online. The City has 3 wedding chambers located at the North York, Scarborough and York Civic Centres.

 

 

  • You can book a wedding chamber online or in-person at one of our offfices.
  • The booking is for the room only. A marriage officiant is not included.
  • The fee is $117.10 for a 30 minute booking (HST included), payable by cash, debit, credit card, certified cheque or money order.
  • This fee is non-refundable.
  • If you require additional time beyond 30 minutes, you must book additional time in 30 minute blocks.
  • If you need to reschedule your booking please email  registryservices@toronto.ca. Please note that you cannot reschedule your booking online.

The booking is for the room only.

You must arrange for:

  • marriage officiant to perform your ceremony (the City does not arrange for marriage officiants)
  • two witnesses for your ceremony
  • marriage licence
  • music; a sound system is provided for CD’s, MP3s, iPods and smartphones (you will need to provide your own music and audio cable if needed)

Facility bookings are made under these terms and conditions:

  • tossing of confetti, rice or any other material is not permitted
  • decorations are permitted, as long as they are not taped to the walls and can be removed (all items left on City property will be disposed of within 24 hours after the event)
  • the City is not responsible for any stolen or misplaced items left on the property
  • open-flamed candles and the burning of incense are not permitted due to Fire Code
  • food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted
  • smoking is not permitted
  • maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded
