Historic Queen East BIA

Councillors:   Pam McConnell,  Ward 28
Kristyn Wong-Tam,  Ward 27

Come and explore Historic Queen East, formerly known as Old Queen Street East. You will discover a fascinating part of the City that is well known for its many historic sites such as the Metropolitan United Church, Dominion Square, the Queen Richmond Centre and St. Paul's Basilica which are wonderful examples of 19th century architecture.

This vibrant, multicultural area contains a wide range of boutiques and restaurants capable of satisfying the most discerning palate. Or visit the Dominion Hotel, one of the oldest remaining hotels in the City, and enjoy both its rich history and the hottest jazz in the downtown core. Located between Victoria Street and River Street, Historic Queen East, is a great place to live, work and play — we have the corner on history!!
