Its name is a tribute to the history of this great neighbourhood, which was once Italian to the core. Today Little Italy, established in 1985, is also home to South American, Portuguese, and Asian newcomers adding a diverse multicultural mosaic to this eclectic neighbourhood, which runs along College Street from Euclid Avenue west to Shaw Street.
