* * Book Awards 2009 * Congratulations to the winner
Austin Clarke has been named the winner of the 2009 Toronto Book Awards for his novel More (Thomas Allen Publishers). The winner was announced on October 15, honouring authors of books of literary or artistic merit that are evocative of Toronto.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Toronto Book Awards, which also coincides with the City's 175th anniversary celebrations. The awards are presented in partnership with the Toronto Public Library.
