Effective April 2, 2012: Restructured Development Application Fees
At its January 17, 2012 meeting, Council approved new Development Application Fees in order to move towards full cost recovery in accordance with the City's recently adopted User Fee Policy. The new fees reflect the full costs for all City Divisions involved in the processing of development applications.
The online Development Guide has been updated as of December 2011 to provide a new user-friendly layout of submission requirements by the type of application.
New Exterior & Sustainable Design Site Plan Control Powers
Effective November 1, 2010, all Site Plan Control applications submitted for buildings five storeys or higher must
include new 1:50 scale drawings.
New Policy for Water Use at Construction Sites
All construction sites using water are to be metered so that actual usage is charged.
A new Sewer Use by-law is now in effect
Toronto Green Development Standard
The Toronto Green Development Standard is an integrated set of performance targets and guidelines to promote environmental sustainable site and building design.
