* Green Fleet Plan 2008-2011

City Council adopted the Green Fleet Plan 2008 - 2011 at its March 2008 meeting. The Plan follows the completion of the Green Fleet Transition Plan 2004-2007.

The Plan outlines the green vehicles, fuels and activities Toronto will use to reduce the fleet's environmental impact. Implementing the plan over the next four years will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 15,000 tonnes compared to conventional activities.

Fleet Services is actively implementing the plan and has many recent achievements.
