Our Mandate:
The Sexual Health Clinic program follows the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Mandatory Health Programs and Services Guidelines. We provide clinical services using the following guiding principles:
We are:

  • Inclusive / non-judgemental / respectful / confidential,
  • Pro-choice,
  • Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, positive.

We also provide service to those who experience barriers to accessing effective sexual health services through other service delivery routes regardless of age. This includes the following:

  • People with a concern related to a sexually transmitted disease and their partners
  • Recent immigrants or refugees,
  • People living in poverty who need access to low cost birth control,
  • People without a valid OHIP card,
  • People who have sex with a same sex partner.

Clinic Clients:
Sexual Health Clinics run by or affiliated with Toronto Public Health, provide sexual health services to all women under 25 and all men under 30.

Clinic Services:
Providing free and confidential services for men and women, including:

  • Birth control counselling,
  • Low cost or free birth control,
  • Free condoms,
  • Emergency contraceptive pill,
  • STD testing & free treatment,
  • HIV testing, counselling and referral
  • Pregnancy testing/counselling and referral,
  • Sexuality/relationship counselling.
