You can access sexual health services without a referral or a health card (OHIP). Services are free and confidential for all eligible individuals.

    Toronto Public Health Sexual Health Clinics are pro-choice, inclusive, non-judgemental, respectful, confidential and harm reduction informed. Our services follow the Ontario Ministry of Health Standards.

    Who Can Access Services

    Toronto Public Health Sexual Health Clinics are open to everyone, regardless of age, including people who may face barriers to accessing effective sexual health services, such as:

    • People with concerns about a sexually transmitted infection and their partners
    • Recent immigrants or refugees
    • People who share a disproportionate burden of HIV/STIs
    • People who need access to low-cost birth control
    • People without a valid health card
    • People who are part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community
    • People involved in sex work

    Available Services

    Toronto Public Health Sexual Health Clinics provide free and confidential sexual health services for all eligible individuals across Toronto who require:

    • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV testing & treatment (no Prep or PEP for HIV)
    • Birth control counselling and low-cost birth control
    • Emergency contraceptive pill
    • Intrauterine device (IUD) counseling, insertion and removal
    • Free condoms and lube
    • Pregnancy testing, counselling & referral
    • Vaccines related to infections potentially caused by sexual transmission, including Imvamune© (mpox).

    Booking an Appointment at a Toronto Public Health Sexual Health Clinic

    The following information applies only to the Bloor West, Scarborough, North York and Jane‑St. Clair Clinics:

    • Appointments are needed to visit our clinics. You can book an appointment online for select services or call us at 416‑338‑1234 to schedule an appointment. Phone lines are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Nurse‑only appointments may be available outside regular clinic hours at select locations.
    • First‑time clients may be required to complete a telephone intake appointment before their first in‑person visit.
    • Some services are available through online appointment booking, including:
