Off-Leash Areas and
Commercial Dog Walker Permit Policy
*

At its meeting on July 16, 17 and 18, Toronto City Council adopted two new policies: People, Dogs and Parks Off-Leash Policy (updated 20/12/07, PDF - 59KB) and Commercial Dog Walker Permit Policy (PDF - 56KB - Updated Feb.1, 2009).

The People, Parks and Dogs Strategy provides a consistent approach to the provision of off-leash areas within our parks system and takes into consideration the interests of a variety of park users, including dog owners, and commercial dog walkers.
