Etobicoke’s finest gem, Centennial Park is 525 acres of parkland, making it one of Canada’s largest urban parks. Centennial Park is truly a multi-faceted and multi-use park that offers endless opportunities for recreational activity.
The park encompasses beautifully landscaped grounds, a 12 acre man-made pond, and natural habitats for many species of wildlife including birds and fish.
Centennial Park is easily accessible by public transit – it stops near most main park entrances and has ample parking.
There are a variety of athletic and family-oriented facilities located in the park that are operated by Parks and Community Recreation staff and private interest groups.
The park offers year-round activities and amenities, including a Conservatory, Etobicoke Olympium’s Indoor Olympic Pool and Patio Pool, Health Club, Stadium, Playing Fields, Baseball Diamonds, Dual Surface Arena, Ski and Snowboard Centre, Toboggan Hill, Playgrounds, Discus Golf, Cricket Pitches, Mini-Indy Go Karts, Diamond Beach Batting Cages, Volleyball Courts and Diamonds, Etobicoke Golf Centre, Soccer City’s Indoor Soccer Field and so much more.
There are eight picnic locations situated throughout the park that can accommodate groups of up to 200 people. Washrooms and drinking fountains are conveniently located throughout the park.
Walkers, joggers, cyclists and hikers can follow paved or gravel trails that wind through this wonderful parkland or challenge themselves to a hill elevation approximately 39.7 metres high (130 feet).
We recognize that dogs can be important family members and we value the need to provide a space for reacreation for them as well. Centennial Park is an on-leash park.
Please be advised that Centennial Park is home to a family of coyotes. Signs are posted.
