For the Fall/Winter season, indoor arenas are booked in 1 hour blocks for a twenty-six week season. Ice is available for tournaments and special events on an ongoing basis. You can search for available ice time on-line during the season. Outdoor rinks across the city are also available for long term contract and special functions and in the off-season, you can book a Dry Pad at select facilities for your league or event.

Additional Ice Time For Sale provides a current listing of additional ice availability for both seasonal and spot ice. It displays ice which has previously been permitted by an organization which can no longer utilize the time due to a scheduling conflict. If interested in permitting a date and time listed, please contact the district specific number indicated for further permit options and details. Our offices can be reached Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Please have a valid AMEX, VISA or MCARD available for payment.



How to Apply for a Permit

The City of Toronto allocates ice time on a priority basis according to group classifications; the Ice Allocation Policy defines this process. For organizations that applied for seasonal ice time for the 2012-2013 season, total ice time entitlements have been calculated and are now available.

To apply for a permit, you will need to fill out the following forms and return them to your local permit office:

For seasonal bookings, also include a completed Seasonal Application, and submit your package to the permit office by the application deadline.

For tournaments, special events, and other one-time bookings, complete a One-Time Use Application, and submit your package to the permit office.
