Camps

Camp Enriched Child - All Day Standard
These Adventure Camps, for campers ages 6-12, have all in the ingredients of an Activity Camp and more. Campers are introduced to a variety of enhanced activities through workshops, special events and excursions. These camps have a $10 consumable fee.
Camp Extended Child
The Extended Care option provides supervised care before and/or after camp for children registered in City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and Recreation camp sessions. Extended hours programs have a separate barcode for registration. Refer to the camp program charts for times, fees and locations.
Camp General Child - All Day Extra
These Activity Camps are designed to give children, ages 6-12, a fun-filled, action-packed and safe camp experience. Campers will be involved in arts and crafts, games, sports, special events, outdoor activities and local trips. These camps have a $15 consumable fee.
Camp General Preschool - 1/2 Day Extra
These Activity Camps are designed to give campers up to age 5, a fun-filled, action-packed and safe camp experience. Campers will be involved in arts and crafts, games, sports, special events, outdoor activities and local trips. These camps have a $15 consumable fee.
Camp Specialty Child - All Day
The 'ultimate camp experience' for campers ages 6 - 12 who want to develop or fine-tune their skills in specialized areas of interest. Skilled and experienced instructors provide specialized instructional programs. All of these programs are complemented with a full line-up of traditional camp activities.

Fitness & Wellness

Fitness/Cardio - Adult
Fitness courses that incorporate a cardio component benefiting the cardiovascular system (heart/lungs). Step, Cardiokick (boxing) low impact, hi/lo are all classes with cardio components. Includes warm-up, muscle conditioning and stretching. Possible use of hand weights and/or tubing.

Build longer, leaner muscles while safely exploring optimal strength, flexibility and endurance. Exercises focus on strengthening core postural, abdominal and back muscles. May be required to supply your own mat.
Tai Chi - Adult
There are a variety of styles of Tai Chi; however, the emphasis is on general health and fitness through the development of slow and controlled movements in a fixed sequence. Enjoy the benefits of improved health, relief of stress and the promotion of concentrated relaxation. May be required to supply your own mat.
Yoga - Adult
Combat fatigue, release tension and day-to-day stress. Gentle exercises promote flexibility, proper breathing and relaxation while strengthening and toning muscles. May be required to supply your own mat.

Combat fatigue, release tension and day-to-day stress. Gentle exercises promote flexibility, proper breathing and relaxation while strengthening and toning muscles. May be required to supply your own mat.

General Interest

Cooking - Child - With $25 Supply Fee
Courses vary from simple recipes that teach the basics of how to measure and combine ingredients to specialty cooking courses. The course fee includes a $25 supply fee.
Interactive Play - Preschool
Courses designed for parents/caregivers and children to participate together in activities.

Youth Leadership

AL: Standard First Aid (SFA) Recert
The 8-hour Standard First Aid recertification course provides a review of first aid and CPR skills. Practical skills will be assessed through scenarios and knowledge will be assessed with a written evaluation. Candidates should review the course content and practice their skills prior to the recertification course. Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the Ontario Health Regulation to be valid for three years. Candidates must bring proof of original certification. Prerequisites: Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid with CPR-C (full course) done within the last three years. If you withdraw from a program 10 days or less from the course start date, a 50% refund is provided. No refunds are given for classes or programs that you miss. 100% attendance and active participation are mandatory!
