Amesbury Community Centre, located between Black Creek Drive and Keele St. on Lawrence Ave. W., offers a wide range of programs for all ages. Entrance to the centre is from the Amesbury Park side. Come and visit the centre and join in one of our many programs.

Courses offering instruction on a variety of arts and crafts techniques and projects.
General Interest Arts - Child
Variety of courses and activities for Children
Hip Hop - Child
Street and dance club influenced style of jazz dance. Known for its fast and energetic pace, this creative form of dance is often seen in music videos.
Music - Child
Variety of instructional and recreational courses in music.
Piano - Group - Child
Piano courses taught in group setting.
Piano - Private - Child
Private piano lessons are instructed to suit participant's skill and ability level.

Camps

Camp Enriched Child - All Day Standard
These Adventure Camps, for campers ages 6-12, have all in the ingredients of an Activity Camp and more. Campers are introduced to a variety of enhanced activities through workshops, special events and excursions. These camps have a $10 consumable fee.
Camp Enriched Preschool - All Day Standard
These Adventure Camps, for campers up to age 5, have all in the ingredients of an Activity Camp and more. Campers are introduced to a variety of enhanced activities through workshops, special events and excursions. These camps have a $10 consumable fee.
Camp Enriched Youth - All Day Standard
These Adventure Camps, for campers ages 13 plus, have all in the ingredients of an Activity Camp and more. Campers are introduced to a variety of enhanced activities through workshops, special events and excursions. These camps have a $10 consumable fee.
Camp Extended Child
The Extended Care option provides supervised care before and/or after camp for children registered in City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and Recreation camp sessions. Extended hours programs have a separate barcode for registration. Refer to the camp program charts for times, fees and locations.
Camp Specialty Child - All Day
The 'ultimate camp experience' for campers ages 6 - 12 who want to develop or fine-tune their skills in specialized areas of interest. Skilled and experienced instructors provide specialized instructional programs. All of these programs are complemented with a full line-up of traditional camp activities.

Fitness & Wellness

Fitness/Cardio - Adult
Fitness courses that incorporate a cardio component benefiting the cardiovascular system (heart/lungs). Step, Cardiokick (boxing) low impact, hi/lo are all classes with cardio components. Includes warm-up, muscle conditioning and stretching. Possible use of hand weights and/or tubing.
Tai Chi - Adult
There are a variety of styles of Tai Chi; however, the emphasis is on general health and fitness through the development of slow and controlled movements in a fixed sequence. Enjoy the benefits of improved health, relief of stress and the promotion of concentrated relaxation. May be required to supply your own mat.

General Interest

General Interest - Child
A variety of activities that incorpoarate a variety of sports and skills.
General Interest Clubs - Child
Clubs are groups of participants that meet reguarly and share common interests. A wide variety of clubs types are available. If you withdraw from a program 10 days or less from the course start date, a 50% refund is provided. No refunds are given for classes or programs that you miss. 100% attendance is mandatory!
Miscellaneous - General Interest - Youth
Courses that span a wide variety of activities and interests.
Youth Clubs
Clubs are groups of participants that meet reguarly and share common interests. A wide variety of clubs types are available.

Sports

Ball/Floor Hockey - Adult
Instructional/recreational ball hockey and floor hockey programs that encourage skill development and fun for all participants.
Basketball - Adult
Develop basic skills and fundamentals of the game of basketball through recreational play.
General Interest Sports - Child
A variety of activities that incorpoarate a variety of sports and skills.
Gymnastics - Child
Introductory to advanced courses that develop skills and teach basic moves used in gymnastics. Participants build confidence and have fun learning.
Martial Arts - Child
Variety of martial arts courses from beginner to advanced levels including Tae Kwon Do and Karate.
Racquet Sports - Child
Variety of racquet sports for beginner and intermediate levels including tennis and badminton.
Soccer - Child
Instructional/recreational soccer programs that encourage skill development and fun for all participants.
Sports - Preschool
A variety of activities that incorpoarate a variety of sports and skills.
