Aquatics is one of Canada's favourite ways to spend leisure time! Our programs offer the opportunity to learn how to swim, be safe around water and perform life-saving rescues. Swimming is also a great way to maintain lifelong fitness and wellness - it is often ranked as the best form of exercise for all the benefits it provides from aerobic to resistant training. Toronto operates 230 supervised swimming facilities, so come visit us in your neighbourhood and cool off!
Whether you have a child who needs to improve their skills, a teenager who wants to be a lifeguard, or you simply want to get back into the swim of things, give our instructional programs a try. Enjoy the benefits of having highly trained and friendly instructors, excellent teaching aids, and progress reports every step of the way!
The Youth Lifeguard Club is a free drop-in program created for youth under 16 to discover the world of competitive lifesaving. No prerequisite swimming awards required. Now you can meet new people, work towards achieving your Bronze Medallion, get in shape and learn how to save lives!
