Fort York Neighbourhood Public Realm Plan

Fort York Neighbourhood Ariel ViewThe Fort York Neighbourhood Public Realm Plan is the next step in the planning and design for the Fort York Neighbourhood. The document forms a set of guidelines, endorsed by City Council, which outline the principles and overall vision for the emerging neighbourhood. It builds on the approved policies of the Official Plan and the zoning by-laws that set out the location of public spaces, density, height and built form. The Public Realm Master Plan is intended to define the character of streetscapes, open spaces, parks and pedestrian connections throughout the neighbourhood and will guide the detailed design of buildings, streets, public and private open spaces as development proceeds.
