The Amos Waites Park Expansion is a separately funded/administered initiative by the City Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division. As with the construction of the Mimico Waterfront Linear Park, these significant community investments are seen as a complement to the objectives of the Mimico 2020 Project and are hoped to provide further impetus for broader scale revitalization/reinvestment.
