  Planning Application Sign

Effective January 4, 2011

The application sign has had a makeover. The revised sign will contain added features to make it clearer and friendlier.

It will now contain a graphic to help the public understand the proposal.

The new application sign will now include a Statutory meeting overlay to be affixed once scheduled.

There is no longer a requirement to post a 2nd sign on the property with the Public Meeting information.

Planning application sign

Applications for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, Draft Plan of Subdivision and Draft Plan of Condominium (Common Elements and Vacant Land only) require the posting of a sign.

The applicant should discuss with the assigned planner the appropriate information needed to be included on the sign (proposal description, appropriate graphic, planner information and file #).

Applicants can access a detailed instruction sheet for assistance in developing the sign.

An Adobe Illustrator working file can be downloaded here (.zip file) for the required specifications to produce the sign.
