Warden Corridor and Victoria Park Station
Land Use Planning Studies

In 2004, the City of Toronto commenced land use planning studies of its lands at the Warden and Victoria Park subway stations, to determine the optimal land uses and development parameters for the TTC sites, which could include the relocation of the commuter parking spaces, and provide Council with a policy framework for reviewing development applications. In addition, the Warden Corridor Study examined the east side of Warden Avenue, north and south of the Warden subway station, to determine if the conversion of employment lands to residential could be supported, and if so, to provide guidance for the creation of new neighbourhoods with the necessary physical and social infrastructure.
